2014 Square One Underwater Robotics Competition
This past Saturday March 15 at the Square One Underwater Robotics competition at Oakland University, the Stockbridge Middle School Robotics teams took home two awards.
Emily Baird, Devin Whitaker, & Zach Myers brought home 2nd place in performance. They were the only team out of 27 that were able to take measurements underwater in inches, convert to centimeters and be exact to two decimals.
Nick Spadafore, Katelyn Knieper, and Michelle Zemke brought home 1st place Square One Aware. This trophy goes to the team who demonstrates the overall best combination of Innovation, Engineering and Craftsmanship along with the team of dynamics of leadership, cooperation, and collaboration.
Our third team of Shane Adams, Caleb Boyer, and Ben Race did an amazing job as well. They encounter some challenges, but never gave up.
